Rząd Polski ogłosił uruchomienie szerokiego programu rekompensat państwowych dla przewoźników drogowych, którzy są zobowiązani do wymiany starych tachografów na nowe, „inteligentne” urządzenia drugiej generacji zgodnie z wymogami Unii Europejskiej. Zgodnie z decyzją Ministerstwa Infrastruktury, firmy transportowe będą mogły uzyskać do 3 000 zł dofinansowania na każde zmodernizowane urządzenie
